Want to dance and have fun on a regular basis but always have to wait and check for club events every week? Are the peeps at Black Market or BSide not your type of crowd? Or do you really just need to express yourself but can’t find a good place to do so? Look no further because Project Dance Tuesday is here! Brought to us by Tha Project, Project Dance Tuesday is a venue for dancers to have a good time and jam. But you don’t have to be a dancer to go, if you’re a fun person and you’re not afraid to bust a move you can come in too! There’s no entrance fee or guestlist, and it’s open bar until midnight.
Launched last Tuesday, May 19 at Aracama, Bonifacio Global City, Project Dance Tuesday started off with a banging allstyles dance battle. Registration is free and the selection process is in cypher style, meaning you get your brightly colored band on your wrist (don’t lose it!) and dance so the judges notice you! In my experience, I ended up getting in to the battle and reaching the finals. I didn’t win though, but it was still one hell of an experience! After the battle, the dancing didn’t stop as everyone grooved to the beats provided by DJ Jazz Zamora and Kat DJ.
Next Tuesday there’s going to be cyphers all night. No battles, unless you want to call out someone, so there’s no need to be shy if you think you can’t hold your own against another dancer. Just dance, have fun and you might just win prizes!
